Developed expertise in cost controls for computer hardware/software and limited menu (fast food) operations. In addition, computer spreadsheets are used for instruction. Point-of-sale, inventory and recipe software is used to teach the course computer applications for foodservice. PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Adobe Acrobat articles are available to students via a computer LAN in the course HT 362, Food, Beverage and Labor Cost Controls.
