We'll get to know each other better during the semester, but I'll give you a little background to begin with...
My work history..I actually enjoy my work. I hope you will learn to enjoy yours (being a student is perhaps your work?) . I've worked for over 30 years... I've been at Stout for 10 years. Before that I spent 3 years studying at the U of MN (Carlson School of Management). Before that I spent about 4 years at a company that manufactured and distributed accessories for motorcycles. Before that I spent 10 years at a company that manufactured industrial process control equipment. I also taught part time at St. Cloud State in the Technology Dept. And, I also taught secondary ed. courses for 4 years.
My educational background. ..I did undergraduate work at Bemidji State College, master's work at the University of Northern Colorado and St. Cloud State, and PhD work at the U. of MN. That's a total of 7 years of being a full time student and about 5 years of being a part time student.
My other interests ... home improvement projects, outdoor activities reading, investing
Both sections are full. I will add students on the first day if the classroom has room, but only if it has room! You are welcome to come to class to see if you can add.
This semester you'll use more web resources that relate to logistics than ever before. You'll also have an opportunity to participate in CLM. And, the student logistics club will be re-forming.
The use of the Web Page is new to me, too, so if you have questions about your operating system, your e-mail, etc., contact ASK 5000.
