Attention Off Campus Students:
For the first time, UW-Stout will be involved
with a "Spring Move Out" event. This program is designed to
help UW-Stout
off-campus students divert their reusable home items to worthy causes instead of
throwing them
in the garbage. Not only will your participation help the
environment by reducing waste going to the landfill, your
donations will greatly
help individuals in need.
The Spring Move Out event is scheduled for:
Friday, May 16th 10AM-3PM
Monday, May 19th 10AM-3PM
The Spring Move Out event will be located at:
UW-Stout Parking Lot #29, on 13th Avenue across from the Applied Arts Building (link
to campus map).
What you can donate:
What you can't donate:
-
Regular household garbage (stuff in your
black garbage bags)
-
Recyclables (put these in your recycling
containers for your regular curbside pickup)
-
Any items you would never consider using
yourself because they are too dirty or broken
-
You should contact your refuse hauler for
pick up of unusable furniture and other items
