Brief Professional Biography:

Bruce Kuehl received his Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1987 from Texas Tech University. After three years of fulltime employment in an outpatient psychotherapy clinic he arrived at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1990. Professor Kuehl teaches in both the graduate Marriage and Family Therapy and undergraduate Human Development and Family Studies programs. He also directs the Marriage and Family Therapy Program and the Clinical Services Center. During his time at UW-Stout he has earned the Dahlgren Professorship Award of Distinction due to outstanding teaching, scholarship and service. In addition to his university duties, Mr. Kuehl has numerous professional publications and regularly conducts clinical training workshops outside of the university. He provides service to his professional organization and maintains a small MFT practice. Married in 1980, he and his wife have two children and are proceeding through the family life cycle in relatively predictable fashion :)
