Scholarly Interests
My research is in social-cognitive psychology, focusing on how cognitive processes influence people's perception of and interaction with each other. The recurrring issues in my research include:
- How do mental structures such as stereotypes become activated and influence perception of social targets?
- How do goals and mindsets regulate our perception of and action toward each other?
