Welcome!

Welcome to my professional web site. It is used for class syllabi, my professional information, and for other tasks (and sometimes handy facts that I want to share) I have here at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Together with Learn@UW, a system-wide course delivery, they allow a student continuous access to the course content and assignments. I use both sites in the event that there is a difficulty with one or the other.

This morning was spent doing "Into the Book" work with Michael Perry's novel Population 465. It was a good morning and I always learn from what others have to say. It is interesting to me how people read the same thing and come way with such different things. Otherwise, I am working on specific things in my syllabi and working on the inidividual lesson plans. I think once I see more students, I will be more in-tune with the year. I am ready to get going.

In spite of all that craziness, I am accessible; the easiest way to contact me immediately is always by e-mailing me at martinm@uwstout.edu; this is especially true as I can now get my email on my phone. If you are in a fall class, you can call my cell which is available through facebook. You can also find me at the various IM accounts. I also use some of the social networking tools that are available, if you so desire, you can contact me in that medium too.
