Diane Olson, C.P.M., is an Instructor in Industrial Management and Program Manager for the EDA University Center, Stout Technology Transfer Institute, at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, College of Technology, Engineering, and Management (CTEM), in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Diane holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Industrial Technology, and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN.
Diane has 25 years of industry experience. She was an engineer and subcontract program manager at Honeywell, manager for MECC (educational software company) and most recently a director for national network services at Qwest Communications. She has a wide variety of project management training and experience in small, medium, and large projects. In addition, Diane was a Malcolm Baldridge examiner for 2 years and is a Certified Purchasing Manager. She currently is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), as well as NAPM (National Association of Purchasing Mgt.)/ISM (Institute for Supply Mgt).
